Badi Gad

About Badi Gad

The Badi Gad River, a major tributary of Kaligandaki, flows through the middle hills - South of the Dhorpatan Royal Hunting Reserve. The steep and continuous whitewater in a gorge, at the top of the river, makes it a great paddle to Kharbang. Eventually, it flattens out but with some interesting rapids from time to time. A (3-4) day trek from Baglung is highly recommended as it offers majestic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri from the top of the ridge.
