Madi Khola

About Madi Khola

The Madi Khola acts as the main watershed between the Modi Khola and the Marsyangdi valley, however being off the main trekking routes, it lay undiscovered by paddlers until 1998 when the words began to spread out the paddling fraternity that there was a new ‘jewel of a river’ which offered some splendid whitewater. The river gradually wases and the continuity drops slightly such that after Bagwati, there are a few quiet sections and time to look around and admire the mountains.
