Seti River

The Seti River comes solely from the high peaks of the westernmost Nepal mountains, that is, Api (7,132 m) and Saipal (7,031 m), and then runs south and southeast to meet the Karnali River. It is a very secluded valley that does not lie close to the capital city of Kathmandu, a place where foreign visitors rarely come and only a few rivers flow down. Despite its distance from Kathmandu, it has roads to the central valley, two airstrips in Dipayal and Chainpur, and many villages above the valley. The native population leads their traditional life of farmers and remains curious and friendly. The natural beauty, pristine waters, and cleanliness of the riverbank make this river perfect for rafting, kayaking, and angling tours, particularly fishing expeditions lasting for 15 to 20 days. You will definitely catch Mahaseer fish (शहर माछा) here.
