Table of Contents

River Origin: Originates from the Langtang Mountains and flows southwards.

Route: Flows through narrow gorges and open valleys.

Confluence: Joins the Ganges River in India via the Narayani and Gandaki rivers through Chitwan National Park.

Popularity: Very popular among domestic and foreign tourists for rafting.

Accessibility: Since it is located on the Prithvi Highway, rafting can be easily done on the way to Kathmandu, Pokhara or Chitwan.

Options: Half-day, one-day, one-night and two-day rafting packages are available.

Flexibility: Rafting can be done in any season from Baireni in Dhading to Fisling in Chitwan.

Development: With a new hydroelectric project being built downstream of Fisling, the river journey will end at Fisling in Chitwan.
